Enter the Void: A Ritual of Shibari, Gong & Drone

Enter the Void is a ritual evening of shibari and psychedelic gong immersion - an invitation to descend, gently, out of the noise and into the body's quieter frequencies. Rope bondage artists Sydona Rogue and Vanilla Honey entwine their practices with the amplified electro-acoustic gong and sustained drone of percussionist and sound healer Samer Ghadry to guide audiences toward sensation, aural perception, and trance. Named for Gaspar Noé's film, Enter the Void borrows its spirit of dissolution. Overtones swell and dissolve, drones stretch and seemingly bend time, and the body becomes newly porous to sound. Rope binds, reveals, and transforms. The gong does not merely accompany the action, but saturates it, turning the room into a vessel for listening, sensation, and altered awareness.
