Sweet Nothings: Torch Songs & Crooner Classics x Lila Bloom Trio
A torch song is a ballad for someone still carrying a flame after the other person has put theirs out. The name came out of Broadway’s late-night spots in the late 1920s and stuck to a whole shelf of American songs: Lena Horne’s Stormy Weather, Julie London’s Cry Me a River, Billie Holiday’s You Don’t Know What Love Is. The Lila Bloom Trio spends a Thursday evening at The Red Pavilion with those songs and the crooner classics that sit beside them, from Frank Sinatra’s Night and Day and I’ve Got a Crush on You to Nat King Cole’s Stardust. Expect a sultry night of timeless standards, guaranteed to conjure thoughts of whoever you'd carry a torch for. Better yet - bring them. 2 Drink Minimum per person for table service. 21+ ID Required. All Sales Final.
